A Telecom Provider has asked METRI to perform an IT Scan. The IT Scan is aimed at identifying the current IT environment and at objectifying cost reduction. The IT scan should also identify the installed base – in other words: provide an overview of the complete inventory of the infrastructure.
METRI performed a cost assessment and benchmark, in which the cost level, quality, complexity, productivity, and volumes of the Telecom Provider IT were compared with the market. The inventory is organized according to an IT service model. The potentials for improvement and cost reduction for each IT service are recorded in the final report.
